Polishey Reviews (2026): What Trustpilot Reviewers Say, and How It Compares
Share
Polishey is the most-searched nail polish pen after Sweenly, and "Polishey reviews" is one of the first things people type before ordering. Rather than a tenth marketing page, here is a summary of what its customers say on Trustpilot, with the numbers, the praise and the complaints, followed by an honest note on how the Sweenly Nail Pen compares.
A note on fairness: Sweenly makes the Sweenly Nail Pen and Lip Pen, so read this as a comparison written by one of the two brands. Everything about the other product comes from its own website as of September 19, 2026; we have not tested it ourselves and we make no claims about its quality. Brand names belong to their respective owners, and Sweenly is not affiliated with them.
Polishey, in short
According to polishey.com (September 19, 2026): a set of 5 felt-tip pens with a top coat and a base coat for $59.99 (listed at $80), roughly 28 shades, a water-based "clean, 9-free & vegan" formula, air-dry in about 20 seconds with no lamp, removal with any regular remover. The site gives a support email and a shipping address in London; we did not find a company name on it.
The Trustpilot numbers
On Trustpilot, as of September 19, 2026, Polishey has a 3.7 out of 5 TrustScore from about 1,650 reviews: 57% five-star, 7% four-star, 3% three-star, 8% two-star and 25% one-star. In other words, most customers are happy, and one in four is not.
What reviewers praise
- Ease of application. By far the most frequent compliment: the pen is "so easy to use", and the tip keeps the color off the cuticles, which is the whole reason people switch from a brush.
- Drying speed. Reviewers like that it dries fast.
- Colors and smell. The colors are described as vibrant, and several reviewers note there is no harsh smell.
- Toenails. A few people mention it works well on toes.
What reviewers complain about
- Wear time, first and by a distance. This is the complaint that comes up in review after review: color that chips or peels within a day or two, tips that wear down after two days. Some reviewers get a week; many do not. It is the single theme behind most of the one- and two-star ratings we read.
- Coverage. Some reviewers say the pen needs vigorous shaking and two or three coats to look even, and a few describe the result as streaky.
- Color accuracy. A handful report that the shade on the nail did not match the marking on the pen.
- Price. Several reviewers feel $59.99 is a lot for a set that does not last long.
- Delivery time. Shipping from the UK, some reviewers waited two weeks or more.
How the Sweenly Nail Pen compares
Where the two pens agree, we will not pretend otherwise: the felt tip really is easier than a brush, and both brands' customers say so. The difference is on the point Polishey's reviewers complain about most.
- Format: felt-tip pen, 22 shades, $21.99 each. Pick any 5 for the Nail Pen Pack at 50% off ($10.99 a pen).
- Drying: air-dries like classic polish (a few minutes), no lamp required.
- Two ways to wear it: on its own, it wears like a nice classic polish for a few days. With the Long-Lasting Kit ($28.99: UV Top Coat + UV Lamp), the color is sealed under the lamp for longer wear and a gel-like shine.
- Formula: water-based, made without HEMA and without TPO, virtually no smell.
- Removal: the acetone-free Sweenly Remover ($10.99) on a cotton pad; with the top coat, a classic remover.
- Coverage: about 20 to 25 manicures per pen.
- Shipping: free in the US over $65; 3 to 7 business days after dispatch.
- Wear time is solved, not hoped for. Sweenly's answer to "it chipped after two days" is the Long-Lasting Kit: the UV Top Coat brushed over the color and sealed for 2 minutes under the UV Lamp. The color is locked in with a gel-like shine; it stops wearing like an air-dry polish. Polishey is air-dry only; there is no equivalent.
- You can start with one pen. Sweenly sells shades individually ($21.99) as well as in the 5-pack ($54.95, $10.99 a pen). You are not committing to a $59.99 set to find out whether a felt-tip pen suits you.
- You know who you are buying from. Sweenly is operated by Synchronicite LLC (Wyoming), with a postal address, a phone number and a support email in its legal notice. US orders ship in 3 to 7 business days after dispatch, free over $65.
- Customers rate it 4.6/5. From Sweenly's own post-purchase survey, 92% at 4 or 5 stars (September 2026). Details on the reviews page.
Bottom line
If you read the Polishey reviews, you will find people who love the format and are frustrated by how long it lasts. That is a fair summary of the air-dry nail pen category as a whole. The Sweenly Nail Pen keeps the part everyone loves, the felt tip, and adds the part that was missing: an optional kit that makes the manicure last. Full side-by-side: Sweenly vs. Polishey. Or start with one shade from the 22 available.
